Good Malaysian food. Ordered the nasi lemak with chicken sambal. The sambal had a mild flavour, probably to cater to the NZ locals . The nee goreng was authentic , similar to mamak mee goreng. Portion was very generous too.
Customer service however was non existent. The server was very shy.
The invoice was for $58.5 but was charged $59. Only realised this after travelling home. my fault for not checking

The best Malaysian food in all of Auckland!
Big fan of the Malaysian style sweet and sour pork, be sure to try an ice cold Orion lager on tap.

We went here on a Friday afternoon and the food was indeed flavorful and with right portions. The place was fully packed and it is certainly popular to locals. The service is friendly and efficient, with staff despite the busyness is eager to recommend dishes and explain the ingredients if you're unfamiliar with the menu. The wait times during that visit was long, but I can’t blame the staffs as it was a Friday evening and everyone wants to eat and have a good time.
One thing to consider though is the parking especially during busy hours. Otherwise food was great and authentic!

I’ve been here a few times but thought to myself today’s meal tasted a lot more flavourful and fragrant than my last visits. To my surprise, I overheard from the next table that there has been a change of ownership. No complaints here, seems like they’re carrying on the tradition of good tasting Malaysian food.

My favorite Malaysian restaurant. Special mention, and you should not miss for sure there prawns and tofu. I can eat them forever. I’ve also tried some fried stuff and fried rice and they didn’t disappoint. They have the best servers too, very friendly and nice, and also will take care of you. It isn’t the best looking restaurant out there, for sure not your IG worthy resto, but will def be your go-to shrimp restaurant.
